Inclusiveness for All of Us: A Guide for Enhancing Nonprofit Inclusiveness

Inclusiveness for All of Us operates as a guidebook for nonprofit volunteers and professionals to enhance inclusiveness in their organizations.  Inclusiveness is a long-term operating philosophy that empowers the voices of organizational stakeholders by incorporating their views into the organization’s mission and decision-making processes.  The project reviews a vast array of current literature concluding that inclusiveness benefits nonprofit organizations by increasing effectiveness in the way they interact with constituents, improving workplace culture, and opening new avenues for fundraising as long as barriers can be overcome.  From this review the project outlines 10 steps volunteers and professionals can implement to enhance nonprofit effectiveness.  The project ends with a call to action for nonprofit volunteers and professionals to move their organizations toward inclusiveness.
